DORCHESTER, our County town, is of great interest. Its fascinating history is preserved in its ancient
buildings and vividly portrayed in the fine County Museum. Every Wednesday there is a bustling indoor
and outdoor Market.WEYMOUTH offers safe bathing from a sandy beach and all the usual and expected seaside attractions. The
Old Harbour provides pleasant walks and much of the history of Weymouth is cleverly depicted at BREWERS
QUAY. From Weymouth, visitors can also enjoy cross channel excursions to the Channel Islands and
France.BRIDPORT too is fascinating and retains much Old World charm in its shops and buildings. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's 'RIVER COTTAGE' as seen on Channel 4 is nearby and many of the interesting features have been filmed within our area.
